The player character first meets Peony in Slippery Slope, having a problem with Peonia for her wanting to go to Max Lair to have Dynamax Adventures. Nonetheless, after knowing that Rose decided to take up as the chairman of the league, Peony chose to abandon his title and depart from the arena. He even managed to successfully attain the title of Champion at a certain point of his life. His battling skills were later acknowledged, and his strong and forthright style had attracted an entourage of fervent male fans. The frequent comparison eventually drove him into becoming a rebellious person. In his youth, Peony had always been compared to his excellent brother, Rose. He tends to be rather loud and hammy, and likes to use 'ultra-mega-' before words. Usually, Peony is a bold and rough man who is not the best listener, and often tries to show off to his daughter Peonia, to the point that she feels annoyed. He wears his home-made Expedition Outfit and has gray hair with a short, black beard.
